eCycle Partners with Citi to Provide Wireless Recycling Initiatives to Benefit Charitable Organizations

NEW ALBANY, Ohio, Aug. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- e-Cycle wireless recycling, in partnership with Citi®, is pleased to announce the donation of $63,175 to three outstanding organizations through the e-Cycle Foundation. The charities include The Hunger Project, Wounded Warrior Project® and The Floating Hospital. Established by e-Cycle LLC, a leading wireless buyback and recycling company, the e-Cycle Foundation provides a way for both businesses and individuals to make an impact in their local and global communities through revenues gained from recycling their reusable wireless devices.

Working in partnership with grassroots communities in Africa, Asia and Latin America, The Hunger Project develops bottom-up strategies to promote self-reliance and empower people around the world to end their own hunger and poverty. The organization received $25,000 to assist in those efforts.

Wounded Warrior Project also received $25,000 to help raise public awareness of the plight of the nation's wounded servicemen and women and to provide programs and services to wounded soldiers and their families. 

The Floating Hospital received $13,175 to be applied to its ongoing mission of providing healthcare to the homeless. To date, more than five million families in New York City have received assistance.
