Edmond Bakos Joins Champalimaud Design as Managing Director

NEW YORK, Dec. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Champalimaud Design announced the appointment of Edmond Bakos, who will serve as the firm's new Managing Director. Mr. Bakos, a registered architect, served for 18 years as a Principal and Studio Leader at Rockwell Group prior to joining Champalimaud Design. 

Mr. Bakos' extensive luxury hospitality and restaurant experience, spanning 26 years, has positioned him as a leader in the design industry. He is recognized for his ability to collaborate with high-profile clients on complex projects to create innovative and engaging guest experiences. Past projects have included the first W Hotel, the Belvedere Hotel in Mykonos and the Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
