EdTech Startup BloomBoard Partners With Minnesota's TIES

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn., March 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Midwest and Silicon Valley came together to create a powerhouse program for teacher professional development. This EdTech partnership is being announced at the Minnesota Association for School Administrators conference (MASA).

Silicon Valley education technology startup BloomBoard is partnering with TIES, an education technology collaborative of 49 Minnesota school districts. The goal is to enhance professional development for teachers and administrators in Minnesota.

BloomBoard will provide the technology platform for TIES' online courses and webinars, helping teachers and administrators achieve their professional learning goals by bringing TIES' high-quality training to them 24/7/365 via an innovative portal.

Minnesota educators will have access to content — searchable by district and school goals, topic, grade level, and more — from TIES and TIES' partner, Whitewater Learning, as well as from other top education publishers. All of the content will be curated and managed via the BloomBoard platform. It will also enable school and district administrators to understand how their professional learning investment is impacting teacher growth and student achievement.
