Edward Hospital Selects LRS Output Management Solution as Part of Epic Rollout

SPRINGFIELD, Ill., May 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Output management software provider Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. (LRS) announced the successful deployment of its VPSX^® solution at Edward Hospital & Health Services (Edward) in Naperville, Illinois. Based in the western suburbs of Chicago, the full-service regional healthcare provider implemented LRS^® software to ease print management and healthcare document delivery from the hospital's newly-installed Epic^® applications.

The LRS solution provides reliable delivery of key documents as well as a desktop interface to manage output from the Epic application to more than 1,400 printers throughout Edward Hospital and its affiliate care centers in the Chicago area. Edward joins nearly 30 other health systems in the U.S. using LRS as part of their Epic environments. 

Edward Hospital's 4,700 employees include more than 1,300 nurses, and 1,000 physicians that represent nearly 70 medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties.
