The Registry, based on Elekta's new technology platform, is focused on improving quality reporting and measurement for indications treated with Leksell Gamma Knife and on establishing global benchmarks for stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). This Registry provides a standard data management application, but also collects data in a HIPAA-compliant cloud-based data warehouse to provide integrated insight into the effectiveness of specific treatments, cost variations, and improving disease outcomes. Developed for the cloud, the Registry also will provide a platform for advancing collaboration in clinical research.
