This is Emergent's first Washington Business Journal nomination and award.  The Fastest Growing Companies list evaluates companies based on year-over-year revenue growth for 2009, 2010, and 2011. Each winner must have more than $2 million in revenue for 2009 and more than $10 million in revenue in 2011 to qualify for the list.
