Eminent Domain Attorney Jennifer Polovetsky Joins Greenberg Traurig Real Estate Team in New York

UNIONDALE, N.Y., Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has expanded its market-leading Real Estate Practice with the addition of Jennifer Polovetsky as a shareholder in the firm's New York City and Long Island offices.

Polovetsky joins Greenberg Traurig from Duane Morris and brings more than two decades of experience representing clients in eminent domain, real estate litigation, and complex property transactions.

Polovetsky focuses her practice on complex real estate matters, with an emphasis on eminent domain. She represents property owners, developers, utilities, telecommunications companies, municipalities, and other clients in condemnation proceedings and a broad range of commercial and multifamily real estate matters.

Her experience includes representing the seller in New York City's approximately $122 million acquisition of 14 Bronx properties slated for conversion into permanent affordable and supportive housing, as well as advising the seller on the sale of property to New York City for supportive housing in a transaction valued at approximately $74 million. She also has represented clients in significant condemnation matters and other complex real estate transactions involving public and private sector stakeholders.

She has advised clients on transactions involving New York City agencies and major public infrastructure projects and is a frequent author and speaker on eminent domain and land valuation issues.
