NEW YORK, Jan. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- As of January 1, 2014, top employment litigation firm Thompson Wigdor LLP has changed its name to Wigdor LLP.  Going into its eleventh year, the Firm will continue to specialize in all facets of employment law including representing clients who have encountered discrimination or harassment based on pregnancy, gender, age, sexual orientation, or disability.

Founding and name partner Douglas H. Wigdor also has announced the promotion of two senior associate attorneys, David E. Gottlieb and Lawrence M. David E. Gottlieb's practice focuses on employment litigation.  He has been involved in the litigation of many large, complex and high profile matters including Raniere v. CitiMortgage, a home loan officer wage and hour class action as well as the Diallo v. Strauss-Kahn matter involving allegations of sexual assault against the former head of the International Monetary Fund. 

Lawrence M. Pearson represents both individuals and corporate clients in all facets of employment law matters.  Mr. Pearson's recent and current matters include the representation of plaintiffs in high-profile Sarbanes-Oxley whistleblower retaliation actions against JP Morgan Chase and Deutsche Bank and winning of a favorable ruling from the bench on a motion to dismiss all claims against a major department store.
