Enterprise Fills Transportation Gap During Metro SafeTrack Construction
Car Rental, Car Sharing, Ridesharing and Vanpooling Available to District of Columbia Commuters
WASHINGTON, June 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Washington D.C. commuters can access a variety of transportation services provided by Enterprise Rent-A-Car during the Metro SafeTrack Project.
With more than 5,600 fully staffed offices located within 15 miles of 90 percent of the U.S. population – including 160 in areas serviced by Metro alone – Enterprise's intuitive neighborhood business model features a wide variety of programs, including car rental, car sharing, vanpooling and online ride-matching. - A joint offering between the Greater Washington Board of Trade and Zimride by Enterprise, the largest web-based ridesharing and carpooling network in North America, to help the employees of member business partners find and share rides with one another through a secure network.
- Through this partnership, Enterprise Rideshare also provides all participating business partners a cost-effective vanpool option for groups of five or more riders sharing a commute to get to work.
