Enterprise Rent-A-Car Extends European Car Hire Operation to Iceland

LONDON, July 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Enterprise Rent-A-Car has appointed Reykjavik Excursions as a franchise partner in Iceland, extending the company's fast-growing international network of car hire branches to another important European destination.

The agreement will see the familiar Enterprise Rent-A-Car brand appear at airport and city locations in Iceland during the coming months. It is another step in Enterprise's strategy to build a global brand that delivers value, choice and outstanding customer service to business and leisure travellers.

Established over 45 years ago, Reykjavik Excursions is one of the largest travel and tour operating companies in Iceland. The company launched its car rental business in 2013 and has a growing fleet of vehicles. Reykjavik Excursions also operates the main shuttle bus service between Reykjavik and Keflavik International Airport.
