LAS VEGAS, Jan. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Envisioneering salutes 19 companies and 32 products that the industry analyst and researcher selected Wednesday night for Innovation and Design Awards during ShowStoppers at CES 2016.
The products range from breakthrough environmental air quality products to smartphone controlled hearing aids, multi-Holorooms for retail sales, biofeedback relaxation devices, Internet of Things (IoT) development platforms, a Smartphone Virtual Reality system, Network Attached Storage systems, and environmental and fire safety monitors.
"ShowStoppers attracts key startups, spinoffs, disruptors -- innovators all! With their global reach and frequent exhibit cycles of exhibitors, ShowStoppers offers a ready showcase for industry leaders and startups driving radical new digital lifestyle products and services," said Richard Doherty, Lead Judge. "It's a pleasure for our team of judges to see these companies spread their tech wings to large media contingents under ShowStoppers' umbrella."
This is the fourth consecutive year Envisioneering judged the CES ShowStoppers award candidates. Envisioneering's skills at recognizing innovation in all its forms attract thousands of news media and TV quotes and interviews each year. This year marks Envisioneering's 37th anniversary for attending CES Las Vegas.
Envisioneering's international team of technologists, inventors, marketers and industrial designers assessed each product, technology or service in Delphi team peer review. Five judges deliberated, scoring each candidate for its innovation level, design and value to consumers across dozens of categories.
Envisioneering Research Director Richard Doherty has led Innovation review teams in Europe, Asia and the Americas at trade shows. He has also recognized top inventors for the US Patent Offices' National Medal of Technology and Innovation selection committee – America's "Nobel Prize" – awarded by Presidents Bush and Obama.
Envisioneering is world-renowned for its objective assessment of new technologies, product and services embodiments, and the talents who drive them to market. Envisioneering's analysts are oft-quoted by print, web and video media for their assessments or "what's new and next" in technology benefit, fun and value.
At 23, ShowStoppers is the global leader in producing press and business events spanning the US, Europe and Asia. Each event organizes product introductions, sneak previews and demonstrations for selected journalists, bloggers, industry and financial analysts, venture capitalists and business executives. Industry leaders, innovators and startups exhibit to help generate news coverage and product reviews, make new connections, promote brand, and open new markets. ShowStoppers produces events at CES, CTIA and Mobile World Congress, among others; the official press events at IFA, NAB and the Israel Dealmakers Summit; and partners with CES, CE Week, CTIA and Landmark Ventures.
