Epic Records, in Conjunction with NBC's 'The Sing-Off,' Releases 'The Sing-Off: Harmonies for the Holidays' on November 30th

NEW YORK, Nov. 4, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- In a partnership with Sony Pictures Television's hit a cappella singing competition series "The Sing-Off" for NBC, Epic Records announced today that it will release "The Sing-Off: Harmonies for the Holidays" on November 30th. The album will feature one-of-a-kind takes on classic holiday songs from all 10 competing groups from the second season which premieres on December 6th (8-10 pm ET). The one-of-a-kind battle of voices will continue on December 8, 13 and 15, culminating in a live finale on December 20 (8-10 p.m. ET each night). With distinct harmonies, stunning arrangements and electrifying vocals, "The Sing-Off: Harmonies for the Holidays" provides the ultimate holiday playlist.

The second season of "The Sing-Off" will now offer fans immediate access to digital content. Epic Records will be releasing digital tracks of each group's performance online the day of each episode. Prior to the live finale on December 20th, Epic Records will also be releasing a digital EP of 'signature' songs from each of the finalists. The ultimate winner will be granted a recording contact with Sony Music and their final song will be available online.

In its second season, "The Sing-Off" returns with ten a cappella groups performing songs from various genres, arranged and sung like you've never heard before. The five-night holiday event series will feature returning host, multi-platinum recording artist, Nick Lachey, as well as judges Ben Folds (Ben Folds Five), Shawn Stockman (Boyz II Men) and Nicole Scherzinger (The Pussycat Dolls), with a special performance by 2009 winner, Nota.
