Epidemic Sound unveils AI-powered soundtracking Assistant for creators and brands
- Assistant uses AI to save creators time with intuitive conversational search for music and sound effects
- Assistant is the latest in a suite of features focused on enhancing human creativity, and follows the launch of Epidemic Sound's music adaptation tool `Adapt'
STOCKHOLM, Oct. 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Epidemic Sound, the world's leading soundtracking platform, today announced the launch of an AI-powered soundtracking Assistant. Content creators can spend less time searching by chatting in natural language with the tool to find music and sound effects by Epidemic Sound's roster of world-class artists.
Assistant's nuanced understanding of soundtracking language and intent enables creators to chat naturally with the tool to describe what they're looking for, receive several creative directions to explore, and then easily refine or add context to their search in real time.
"Assistant is like having your own personal soundtracking sidekick; an expert who understands the soundtracking process, can bounce ideas with you, provide inspiration, and ultimately collaborate to save time in finding the right soundtrack," said Epidemic Sound Chief Product Officer, Sam Hall. "This is all about continuing to use AI to empower human creativity, not replace it. Assistant is the latest tool designed to make soundtracking as seamless as possible, and there's plenty more to come. Stay tuned."
Assistant, which is now available in Beta in Epidemic Sound's Labs environment, is the company's latest AI-powered soundtracking tool. It follows the launch of Adapt, a feature that empowers creators with the ability to easily edit, shape, and customize Epidemic Sound music, while unlocking new revenue and distribution streams for its roster of world class artists.
