Equinox Raises The Curtain At The Metro Theater Building

LOS ANGELES, June 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- San Franciscans will be able to see why Equinox takes top-billing as an upscale fitness and high performance lifestyle leader, when the company opens its 4^th Northern California location today.  The club is conveniently located on Union Street in the heart of the Cow Hollow neighborhood, in the landmarked Metro Theater built in 1929.

In addition to the building's seismic upgrades, two prominent skylights and a series of windows have been added, which allows natural light to flood the interior and provide uninterrupted views to the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay.

Inside Equinox Union Street's four fitness studios, the  internationally acclaimed instructors will lead a full range of yoga, cycling, Pilates and innovative group fitness classes, including  signature classes such as Barre Burn, METCON3, Shockwave, ViPR, and Tabata. Equinox's cardio and strength training areas unite free weights and state of the art cardio machines to create an inspirational setting where members can workout on their own, or with one of Equinox's highly skilled personal trainers.
