Eric Wasserson Does It Again, Wins Record-Shattering $4.26 Million Pot on PokerGO®'s High Stakes Poker

Eric Wasserson won a staggering $4,260,000 pot during the Monday, August 31, livestream of High Stakes Poker presented by CoinPoker, setting a new record for the largest pot ever won in the history of the iconic poker show.

The record-breaking hand came just days after Wasserson won a $2,478,000 pot to establish what was then the largest pot in High Stakes Poker history. That record didn't last long.

Playing in one of the biggest games ever featured on High Stakes Poker, Wasserson and Michael "Texas Mike" Moncek collided in a gigantic hand that ultimately swelled to $4,260,000, nearly doubling the previous record.

The stakes were $2,000/$4,000 with a $20,000 big blind ante. Holding nine-seven of diamonds, Wasserson raised to $20,000. Moncek reraised to $80,000 with ten-seven of clubs. Wasserson called, and the two saw a flop of ace-king-nine with two diamonds. Wasserson checked, Moncek bet $100,000, Wasserson called, and the turn was the four of hearts. Wasserson checked again, and this time Moncek fired $330,000 on his ten-high bluff. Wasserson called.

The five of diamonds landed on the river to give Wasserson a flush. He checked, and Moncek moved all in for effectively $1,607,000. Wasserson made the call.
