ESG Solutions Announces Expansion of Microseismic Operations in Perth, Australia

PERTH, Australia, Aug. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ESG Solutions, an industry leader in microseismic technology and services, is pleased to announce the expansion of its Australian operations through its partnership with Australian consulting agency, MiningOne.  With this partnership, ESG has relocated staff experienced in array design, installation, advanced analysis and technical support from its Canadian headquarters to operate out of the MiningOne office in Perth, Australia.  Establishing a local sales and service support capability will better serve ESG and MiningOne's clients.

Microseismic monitoring is routinely applied to underground and open-pit mine operations to enhance production, decrease costs, and reduce economic, operational, and environmental risk.  The technology provides real-time feedback on mining induced seismicity within the surrounding rock, and may take the form of comprehensive mine-wide systems or temporary, portable units for specific applications, such as blast or vibration monitoring.
