ARLINGTON, Va., April 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Engineering Services Network Inc. (ESN), a trusted leader in providing engineering and technology solutions, has won a $4.2 million VistA Financials Annual Enhancements contract to improve the way the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) tracks costs and manages claims and billing for its health system.
The GSA VETS Task Order, awarded recently, in support of the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) includes eight (8) specific VistA enhancements to be delivered in 12 months.

ESN has a long history of serving the Departments of Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, and DoD (U.S. Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Military Sealift Command).
Under the Task Order, ESN will continue its work with the VA's Office of Information & Technology, Office of Product Development, in support of the Veterans Health Administration's Chief Business Office. This project will improve the VA's ability to plan and track costs and expenditures and manage claims and billing for services.
About 20 jobs are being created under the contract. The work will be performed in Arlington, VA, Tampa, Dallas and throughout the U.S.
