Essency Strengthens Western U.S. Presence with New Regional Leadership

Ricardo Corrales joins Essency to expand contractor support and build on growth across California, Arizona and the Pacific Northwest.

HOUSTON, Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Essency is strengthening its presence across the Western United States with increased investment in contractor relationships, field training and regional support.

Ricardo Corrales has joined Essency as Regional Business Development Manager – West, bringing 20 years of sales experience, including eight years in the water-heating and plumbing industry. Corrales will work directly with contractors, distributors and industry partners to expand Essency's network and provide more local training and support.

California and Arizona will be key areas of focus, while Corrales will also work closely with United Sales Northwest to build on the strong growth they have already established for Essency in the Pacific Northwest, particularly Washington and Oregon.

Essency's Western expansion includes a greater emphasis on hands-on training and being in the field with contractors.

That commitment was recently demonstrated through Essency's "California Blitz" field initiative, with training and contractor outreach in markets including San Diego, Anaheim, Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Jose, Sonora, Jackson and Oakland.

The timing is particularly important as electrification, zero-NOx requirements and changing air-district policies become increasingly relevant across Western markets. Essency believes contractors should be prepared to offer an electric water-heating option as homeowners, builders and local requirements increasingly drive the conversation.
