Eutelsat Network Solutions Strengthens Cybersecurity Compliance with CMMC Level 2 Certification

Achievement Validates Company's Commitment to Support Mission-Critical Operations and Customer Requirement Readiness

HOUSTON, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Eutelsat Network Solutions, the company that empowers the U.S. government and its allies to connect confidently, today announced that it has achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2. The independent C3PAO validation, for both internal and external enclaves, demonstrates the company's ongoing investment and commitment to security, resilience and trust across its GEO and LEO satellite connectivity portfolio of solutions and services.

With fewer than three percent of the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) holding CMMC Level 2 certification, the company stands at the forefront of security compliance for the defense community.

This achievement makes Eutelsat Network Solutions capable of properly handling and storing Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Federal Contract Information (FCI) in support of U.S. government programs, primarily the U.S. Department of War (DoW) and other federal government offices and agencies.

"This CMMC Level 2 (Advanced) certification reflects our commitment to meeting the highest standards of security and performance for our U.S. government customers," said Ian Canning, president and CEO, Eutelsat Network Solutions. "In an increasingly complex threat landscape, this certification is yet another clear differentiator for Eutelsat Network Solutions. It reflects how security is central to how we design, operate and evolve our connectivity services."

The CMMC program sets the cybersecurity standard for companies that support the U.S. DoW. The third-party CMMC assessment requires a significant investment in segregated networks, continuous monitoring, encrypted communications and rigorous documentation. Level 2 requires organizations, such as Eutelsat Network Solutions, to implement the 110 security controls in NIST SP 800-171 to protect CUI with the external audit requiring evidence across 400 plus elements meeting more than 1,200 objectives.

Eutelsat Network Solutions is a wholly owned, independent U.S. proxy company and subsidiary of Eutelsat.
