Everything Channel Announces the 2011 VAR500 List

FRAMINGHAM, Mass., June 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Everything Channel, a UBM company, today announced CRN's VAR500 list, ranking the top 500 technology integrators in North America. The list was announced at the VAR500 Executive Conference and Awards, an elite two-day conference designed for high level executives to meet with VAR500 companies to discuss business models, technology offerings, and partnerships. Featuring the highest producing and most forward-thinking technology integrators and solution provider organizations in North America, the 17th annual VAR500 rankings consider earnings from hardware sales, software sales and managed IT services.

The VAR500 is a ranking of value-added resellers, solution providers and integrators in North America based on their revenue size, as well as their forward-thinking approach to the channel. In particular, the VAR500 selection panel sought to recognize companies that are building out practices around the data center and virtualization while offering software integration and application development skills. Revenue size is determined by the amount of annual products and services sold over the course of 2010.  Companies with no public documentation were required to submit a notarized affidavit attesting to their 2009 and 2010 revenues.

This year's list reflects the continued growth of the technology reseller channel with 215 new companies.
