Evoltix Expands the Zero-Glitch Power Module Line, Bringing Battery-First Backup Power to Three-Phase Applications

Two new models extend the ZPM line to three-phase service, built for public safety dispatch centers, 911 answering points and the small data centers behind them

KANSAS CITY, Kan., Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Evoltix, a power intelligence company built for mission-critical networks, today announced two additions to its Zero-Glitch Power Module™ line: the Evoltix ZPM 120/208V 6.75 kW and the Evoltix ZPM 120/208V 13.5 kW. Both extend the company's battery-first architecture to three-phase service, and both are available now.

Evoltix built its reputation on DC power plants at remote tower sites. The new models bring that same architecture to AC applications — the dispatch centers, 911 answering points and small public safety data centers where the load is servers and radios rather than motors, and where the incumbent answer has been an uninterruptible power supply sized to bridge minutes.

The Zero-Glitch Power Module line

Battery capacity is configured to each site rather than fixed by model. Evoltix sizes storage against the facility's critical load and required runtime as part of a site review.¹ Two larger models, a 13.5 kW single-phase and a 20.25 kW three-phase unit, are scheduled to follow in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The same architecture, a different service entrance

Every Zero-Glitch Power Module is a battery-first system rather than a conventional uninterruptible power supply. Lithium-ion batteries ship pre-integrated in the rack, require no maintenance and no ventilation for off-gassing, and carry a service life measured in years rather than in replacement cycles. The legacy installations these models replace typically run on valve-regulated lead-acid strings that fade toward a three-to-five-year replacement cycle, usually in a dedicated battery room that has to be maintained alongside them.

Every unit includes IntelliCore™, Evoltix's power management platform, which unifies grid, generator, battery and solar inputs into a single view, exposes up to 26 mappable dry contacts for SCADA integration, and applies machine learning to flag a developing fault before it takes a facility down. For an agency whose radio dispatch depends on a single building, that is the difference between a scheduled service call and a two o'clock in the morning outage.

What it costs over ten years

The three-phase models arrive alongside Evoltix TCO Studio, an analysis tool that models ten-year total cost of ownership on site backup power. In a modeled four-site public safety deployment replacing on-grid UPS units, a ZPM runs $186,000 over ten years against $350,000 for legacy UPS with lead-acid batteries — 47% lower, with cumulative crossover in year four. The gap comes from recurring costs that rarely reach a capital request: battery replacement cycles, reactive maintenance, unscheduled service visits, and hours offline.
