FREMONT, Calif., Feb. 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Exar Corporation (NYSE: EXAR), a leading supplier of analog mixed-signal products serving the industrial, high-end consumer and infrastructure markets, has appointed Elan Lee to the position of Sales Director in China. Mr. Lee will be responsible for driving Exar's component and system sales in China, including strengthening key customer relationships, working with channel partners and increasing market penetration.

Mr. Lee has more than 30 years of sales and management experience in the region. He was most recently the general manager of China for National Semiconductor. Previously, he held positions for the same company as an FAE, sales manager and Asia channel manager. He also served as a consultant for various China and Taiwan semiconductor distributors. Mr. Lee holds a BSEE from St. John's & St. Mary's Institute of Technology in Taiwan.
