Explore Industries Names Doug Larson General Manager of Integra Pool Covers

Experienced automatic pool cover industry leader to oversee growth, operations and product development for Integra Pool Covers

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Explore Industries, a global leader in the fiberglass swimming pool industry, today announced the appointment of Doug Larson as General Manager of Integra Pool Covers, its automatic pool cover business.

In the newly expanded leadership role, Larson will oversee the Integra Pool Covers business, with responsibilities spanning sales support, manufacturing, supply chain, warranty operations, business development and product innovation. He will work across Explore Industries to strengthen Integra's operations, expand the brand's dealer network, and grow its consumer base.

Larson's connection to the automatic pool cover industry dates back more than 30 years. He began his career in 1995, installing automatic covers for Coverstar while attending school. After completing his MBA, he gained experience outside the industry with KPMG and Washington Mutual Bank before returning to Coverstar in 2008 as President, a position he held through 2016. He subsequently served as President of InterWest Safety and, in 2019, purchased Certified Services Group, a Salt Lake City-based service company.
