EXPO Adds Senior Sales Staff amid Strong Growth Across Industry Verticals

The hires are in direct response to increasing demand from both new and existing clients for innovative content solutions and EXPO's focus on expanding globally and across new verticals. Each of the new hires brings more than 10 years of experience managing strategic accounts for revenue growth and profitability across digital, social and mobile media.

Joining the company as Vice President Sales is Gail Koerner, whose focus will be to drive accelerated growth within strategic accounts. Gail brings significant client development and consumer marketing expertise to the company, pulling from her 10 years of experience overseeing pricing, promotion, distribution, and marketing plans for a portfolio of over 50 health and beauty care brands at Procter & Gamble. Prior to joining EXPO, Gail was with MarketTools, provider of software and services for enterprise feedback management (EFM) and online market research, and Ripple 6, where she was directly responsible for 2 of the 3 largest clients.

In three newly-created Director of Sales positions are Lori Blinder Barr, Christian Pimsner and Dana Siegal. Lori brings a strong background in Beauty, HBA, Fashion & Retail.  Previously, Lori was with Meredith Corporation where she led double-digit category growth as Executive Beauty Director for Fitness. Prior to Fitness, she was the Fashion Director at Hearst for Seventeen and served as Senior Account Manager at Conde Nast for Self and Glamour.  Lori will utilize her strong Client/Agency relationships to help grow EXPO's business across multiple categories.

Dana and Christian will lead new business growth across a variety of verticals including food and consumer electronics. Dana brings vast experience selling media and software to Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, she led Enterprise accounts for social media marketing management software company Buddy Media (now Salesforce.com Marketing Cloud). Prior to that, she was with Fortune Magazine and the New York Times.

Christian brings a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for social video to EXPO. Christian has worked with several startups including video seeding service The 7^th Chamber and is experienced across entertainment, telecom and healthcare/pharmaceuticals. His history of successfully closing new business and his strong relationships with digital agencies across the US make him a strong addition to EXPO.
