Extricom Announces Release of the Extricom RP-32EOn - a Channel Blanket Outdoor Access Point

Extricom Ltd., the enterprise wireless LAN (WLAN) manufacturer that provides seamless mobility with its patented Channel Blanket™ architecture, is pleased to announce the release of RP-32EOn, the company's new three-radio, 802.11n Outdoor Access Point. The RP-32EOn system delivers wireless connectivity to large public venues (LPVs) and other outdoor environments.

Featuring three 802.11n dual-stream radios and a rugged new design, the RP-32EOn marks Extricom's outdoor access point solution for outdoor stadiums, industrial areas, campuses and parking lots. The RP-32EOn serves to enhance Extricom's already market-proven solution, a high-level wireless LAN system deployed by customers around the globe. Based on its unique three-radio deployment and its ability to fully deploy a system for indoor and outdoor environments, or expand an existing indoor deployment, the RP-32EOn can be easily configured to any scenario.  

Deployed using Extricom Channel Blanket™ architecture, the RP-32EOn access point features three 802.11n dual-stream radios, each of which can be operated on the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band. Each radio has a 2x2 MIMO external antenna configuration for an air rate of up to 300 mbps. With its rugged design, the RP-32EOn supports bandwidth-intensive applications requiring high wireless capacity in outdoor locations, such as stadiums, campuses and industrial areas.
