EY appoints Tim Tracy as new Managing Partner for Northeast Region's Assurance practice

NEW YORK, July 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ernst & Young LLP announced the appointment of Tim Tracy as its Northeast Assurance Managing Partner and Rebecca Burke will succeed him as the firm's New Jersey Office Managing Partner. 

Tracy, who has been the current Office Managing Partner of the New Jersey Office since 2012, will now be responsible for over 2200 assurance professionals in 16 offices throughout the region.

"Our professionals  deliver audit services to some of the region's largest revenue generating companies as well as to numerous mid-market firms and many entrepreneurial and innovative start-ups."

As the Northeast Region Assurance Managing Partner, Tracy will bring over 25 years of experience to guide assurance related strategic, client service and operational recommendations. He will work closely with Assurance leaders of Ernst & Young LLP from development to execution of market strategy and client service delivery model to enhance the quality of audit methodology.  He will also continue to act as a Coordinating Partner on some of the area's largest public companies.

Burke will manage the day to day operations and management of the New Jersey Office as well as continue to develop strong relationships with community and business leaders.  Burke will also continue to serve multi-national clients in retail and consumer products as a Coordinating Partner.
