Eye Level Learning Centers Host Global Math Olympiad Competition

RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J., Sept. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Eye Level (www.myeyelevel.com), the global leader in self-directed learning for children, proudly announces the 9^th Annual Math Olympiad. The one-day competition will be held on Nov. 9, and students in grades 2 – 9 from around the world will put their math skills to the test for a chance to win more than $500 in prizes.

Since launching in 2004, the Eye Level Math Olympiad has challenged students' math skills at a global level, focusing on problem solving, reasoning, communication and critical thinking, and in 2012, more than 3,800 students competed. This year, students will be tasked with completing 50 multiple choice and open-ended word problems, and will compete against students in 7 countries, including Singapore, South Korea, Philippines and Hong Kong.

The Math Olympiad will be held on Sat., Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at locations nationwide, including the Eye Level Hub in Ridgefield Park, N.J.

All students in grades 2 – 9 are eligible to participate in the Math Olympiad. Registration is open from Sept. 25 – Oct. 25, 2013, and the fee to join is $20.00 for Eye Level students and $30.00 for all other participants.
