NEW YORK, Jan. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Americas-based leading integrated project and program management consultancy, Faithful+Gould (www.fgould.com) celebrated the completion of the USTA National Campus on January 5, 2017, at a ribbon cutting ceremony in Orlando, Florida. Starting in 2014, Faithful+Gould provided project management, cost estimating and workplace solutions services for the USTA on this project. The end result is a facility that offers unparalleled playing, training and educational experiences for tennis players, coaches and spectators.
Faithful+Gould Senior Vice President and Project Executive Tom Jaske said, "We have worked with the USTA on multiple projects for 4 years and are pleased to have helped open this fabulous new facility on time and on budget, using our value engineering and workplace services to add value by delivering the indoor tennis facility within the original budget."
Faithful+Gould worked directly with the USTA and development firm Tavistock from design to construction through completion. The campus spans 64 acres and features 100 courts, a collegiate center with twelve courts, a player development facility and lodge, an indoor tennis facility with six courts, two sunken bowl championship courts, an administration building and a pro shop, situated around four man-made lakes. The project was awarded LEED® certification.
Faithful+Gould Program Director and Project Lead Chris Eattock said, "When Faithful+Gould joined this project, no tennis or athletic organization anywhere in the world had attempted to create a tennis facility of this scale that blends pro level player development, collegiate tennis and recreational facilities with administrative and community outreach functions. The USTA National Campus is truly a one of a kind tennis facility."
