CHICAGO, March 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Anna Nichols, managing director of content for Family Office Exchange (FOX), is the featured speaker at the Wednesday, March 28 meeting of the Midwest chapter of the Family Firm Institute, a leading membership association worldwide for professionals serving the family enterprise field.

Nichols, who has conducted research and written extensively on the challenges unique to business-owning families, will discuss the ownership challenges of shared family wealth in her presentation "Understanding High Net Worth Clients." She will address such issues as:
- Complex dynamics of multi-generational wealth ownership
- Generational characteristics and patterns
- Internal and external factors that affect family decision-making
- Effects of systemic risks on family perceptions and decision-making
