Farragut Square Group, now in its second year, was founded by Brian Fortune and Alina DiDonato, experienced professionals within the health policy and institutional investment spheres specializing in predicting the resolution of complex Washington regulatory and legislative issues.

Don May joins FSG as Managing Director.  He previously served as Vice President and Deputy for Policy at the American Hospital Association where he led the AHA's policy development activities for Medicare and Medicaid payment for nearly 12 years.  In this role, he helped the AHA set policy positions through member outreach and consensus building, supported legislative and regulatory advocacy, and served as an AHA spokesman.  Prior to joining the AHA, he was a Senior Manager with The Lewin Group where he provided expert policy analysis and consulting on federal health care legislation, trends in hospital financial performance, Medicaid payment adequacy, and community health.  He also served as Assistant Hospital Program Administrator for the Ohio Medicaid Program.  Don has a Master's in Public Administration from the Ohio State University and a Bachelor's in Political Science from Ohio University.

Darrell McKigney brings nearly 25 years of high level government affairs experience to FSG as a new Vice President.  He began his career as a top health policy advisor to three members of Congress.  He served as Executive Director of the Long Term Care Pharmacy Alliance, representing the $10 billion long term care pharmacy industry before Congress, state and federal regulators, and national standards organizations.  Darrell has been an expert health care panelist at major investor conferences and has been quoted in media such as the Washington Post, Meet the Press, CBS News, The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, CNBC, CNN-fn, C-Span, Fox News, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Fortune Small Business, Entrepreneur Magazine, American City Business Journals, CBS MarketWatch, Dow Jones, and many others.  He has a BA from Carleton College.
