Fast Company Names Stefanini One of the Most Innovative Companies in Brazil

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Feb. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Stefanini (www.stefanini.com/EN/) today announced that it has been recognized in Fast Company's annual Most Innovative Companies issue as one of the top 10 innovative companies in Brazil. Stefanini was recognized for "going where the clients are." Specifically, Fast Company stated that Stefanini was Brazil's largest IT services company, cementing its global presence by expanding further into fellow emerging economy and outsourcing powerhouse, China. Stefanini also has designs on making inroads in Japan: Its new software development center is located in Jilin, a city in China that has a large Japanese-speaking population.

Stefanini's recognition from Fast Company comes amidst a period of strong growth and innovation for the company. Brazil-based Stefanini – a global provider of onshore and nearshore IT consulting, integration and development, and outsourcing services – finished the year with $720 million in global revenue, representing over 20% growth from 2010. Stefanini expects continued revenue growth in 2012, as high as 35 percent, despite continuing global economic challenges.

Stefanini also announced an expansion of operations in other regions worldwide, the most recent in China, where the company is adding new service delivery capabilities that address the needs of a growing base of global clients in that country. Over the next three years, Stefanini plans to invest $3 million in the region and will grow and train a team of 1,000 employees, working out of offices in Shanghai and the northern Chinese city of Jilin.
