Father and Daughter Bring French Florist's Artisan Floral Design to Tucson

Victor Lopez and Karym Carr Open the Brand's First Southern Arizona Boutique

TUCSON, Ariz., Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- A father and daughter with deep Southern Arizona roots are bringing a new kind of floral artistry to Tucson. Victor Lopez and Karym Carr will open French Florist, the best-in-class boutique creating vibrant, handcrafted flower arrangements, on Monday, November 16th, at 1800 E. Fort Lowell Road, Suite 110.

For Lopez and Carr, the opening is about adding to Tucson's creative culture. They see the boutique as a way to enhance the city's already artistic atmosphere, with every arrangement designed as a work of art.

"Tucson is already such a beautiful, artistic town, and that's exactly why we wanted to be here," said Lopez. "This community appreciates art in every form, and we're thrilled to bring them unique floral designs they can purchase for any occasion."

Lopez and Carr were both born and raised in and around the Tucson area and have long called Southern Arizona their home. Carr brings her background in the floral industry to the family venture, while the boutique marks the latest chapter in Lopez's 30-year career as an entrepreneur and sales professional. Flowers became a shared passion for the pair because of the message each arrangement carries, whether it marks a birthday, an anniversary or sympathy. When they set out to build a floral business around those emotions, they wanted the structure and support of an established system, and French Florist gave them both.

"There are so many talented artists and creators here in Tucson, and we have such admiration for the way they enrich our city," said Carr. "We are here to add to the beautiful catalog this city has to offer and be part of the community in a whole new way."

Inside the 1,600-square-foot boutique, designers create artisan arrangements that change with the seasons, with more than 185 designs offered throughout the year. They use blooms sourced from growers around the world, and their boutiques offer a selection of ready-made arrangements and bouquets for walk-in customers, along with same-day delivery that pairs modern convenience with artistic design.

"Tucson's love for art and culture makes it a natural home for French Florist," said Michael Jacobson, CEO of French Florist. "Victor and Karym understand this community and share our belief that flowers are an art form. We couldn't ask for a better team to bring our designs to Southern Arizona."
