Feast & Fettle Launches First Fridge for LGBTQ+ Youth at the Ali Forney Center

The New England-based meal delivery service will provide more than 3,000 free meals this year to vulnerable LGBTQ+ youth in New York City

PROVIDENCE, R.I., Sept. 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- In New York, roughly 40 percent of homeless youth identify as LGBTQ+, a staggering statistic reflecting systemic displacement and lack of acceptance for this population. In response, Feast & Fettle, a premium meal delivery service available throughout the Northeast, launched the Feast & Fettle Fridge at the Ali Forney Center. The Feast & Fettle Fridge will provide 200 free, nourishing meals for at-risk LGBTQ+ youth each week, totaling more than 3,000 this year.

Feast & Fettle has consistently supported LGBTQ+ causes through ongoing relationships with Family Equality and the Boston Alliance of LGBTQ+ Youth (BAGLY). Throughout these partnerships, the company has donated more than $30,000 in food donations, funding and event sponsorships, as well as and volunteer support at local activations. Partnering with the Ali Forney Center, the nation's largest provider of services to LGBTQ+ homeless youth, on the first Feast & Fettle Fridge is a natural extension of that commitment.

The Feast & Fettle Fridge will help the Ali Forney Center feed the more than 2,000 LGBTQ+ at-risk youth it serves each year by giving them access to ready-to-eat, homemade meals. The nourishment will not only sustain them, but also foster belonging and a sense of community.
