FEV GmbH Announces Support of First-Ever Aachen Colloquium China

AACHEN, Germany, Oct. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- FEV GmbH, (FEV) a leading developer of advanced powertrain and vehicle technologies based in Aachen, Germany, announced today its support of and participation in the first ever Aachen Colloquium China. The China Colloquium is modeled after the annual Aachen (Germany) Colloquium, and is organized by the Institute for Automotive Engineering, led by University Prof. Dr. –Ing. Lutz Eckstein, and the Institute for Combustion Engines, led by University Prof. Dr. –Ing. Stefan Pischinger. Both Institutes are a part of Aachen Technical University. Prof. Eckstein and Prof. Pischinger will also participate in the Colloquium, which takes place in Beijing on November 1 and 2, 2011.

The annual Aachen Colloquium has grown to become one of the world's leading conferences on automobile and engine technology, and organizers anticipate that it will be embraced in the China market. It is expected that 250 – 350 engineering executives and technical experts will attend the two-day event to hear presentations on subjects relating to the electrification of the vehicle, turbocharging and base-engine advancements, after treatment technologies, advanced transmissions, and advanced fuels such as biofuels. Speakers represent leading automaker and supplier companies from around the world, including FEV, who will also exhibit and present at the Colloquium.
