The Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco (FHLBank San Francisco) celebrates the 25th year of its Affordable Housing Program (AHP) with an announcement of $44.7 million in grants for 2015. Among Northern California's largest cities, San Jose is receiving $2.6 million; San Francisco $2.4 million; Sacramento $900,000 and Oakland $468,000. AHP grants are a flexible source of gap funding for projects that create affordable housing for low-income and moderate-income families and individuals.
