Fifteen New Faculty Members to Present Key Findings about IBD at Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America's Advances in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Clinical and Research Conference

The field of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) is moving faster than ever before. Treatment options including emerging therapies and surgical management, and advancements in quality of care make it imperative for healthcare providers to actively participate in the discussion. AIBD is designed to meet the education needs of healthcare professionals and researchers who study and manage patients with IBD. Led by co-chairs Stephen B. Hanauer, MD, Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine and Richard P. Additionally, for the first time ever, the conference's nursing agenda, which empowers nurses and allied healthcare providers to develop best practices in interprofessional IBD patient care, will be certified by the American Academy of CME, Inc, an accredited provider of continuing nursing education.
Approximately 2,400 participants are expected to attend this year's conference, which is endorsed by the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology (NASPGHAN), and the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG).
