CHICAGO, Nov. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Figure 1, a free mobile-first network that enables healthcare professionals to view and share medical cases, has launched a new completely redesigned web version that includes uploading. The functionality of the web version allows radiologists, who work primarily on a desktop, to upload images directly from their workstation. To further engage with its radiologist user base, Figure 1 is hosting an event during the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Annual Meeting.

"We are continuously looking for ways to improve the access and functionality of Figure 1 for a broad set of global users," said Dr. Joshua Landy, co-founder and chief medical officer at Figure 1. "Visually-oriented fields like radiology have so much to share on Figure 1, and now those specialists can easily upload radiological scans from their desktop to a global network of clinicians."

Figure 1's team will be hosting its first community event to meet valued users at the RSNA Annual Meeting. The event will be an opportunity for users to meet one another in person for the first time.
