NEW YORK, June 19, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- PLI Press is pleased to announce the publication of Financial Services Mediation Answer Book, edited by Layn Phillips, Pierre Gentin, Jill Sperber, and Lindsay Goldstein. Presented in a user-friendly question-and-answer format, the book addresses the significant recurring substantive and lawyering issues that arise in mediating financial services disputes. The Financial Services Mediation Answer Book highlights the distinct characteristics of financial services disputes and provides detailed legal analysis and pragmatic mediation tips designed to benefit parties, counsel, insurers, and neutrals mediating in this arena. The book demonstrates the strategic and tactical opportunities that mediation can offer to evaluate claims and defenses, to communicate messages and glean information, and to structure a resolution that is often superior to a fully litigated outcome. More than 40 prominent attorneys, who have historically represented plaintiffs and defendants in financial services mediations, contributed chapters rich in substantive content and practical guidance. The book concludes with wisdom and direct advice from 13 of the nation's leading financial services mediators, presented in their own words.
