Vertuccio Farms Cooler Days in the Corn Maze

Celebrate the season at Mesa's beloved Vertuccio Farms with 'Cooler Days in the Corn Maze', Arizona's longest-running corn maze. Guests can enjoy family-friendly activities such as the petting zoo, super mega slide, carnival games, barrel train ride, a five-acre corn maze and more. Honey Week: A Sweet Celebration of Local Flavor
Honey Week Dates: Oct. 10–19.
Special Event: Chef Leo's Honey Cooking Class
On Oct. 7, Chef Leo's Food Lab will lead a hands-on cooking class where participants can extract fresh honey and explore creative ways to cook with it. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
This fall, Visit Mesa invites the community to indulge in all things honey during Honey Week, a citywide celebration highlighting Mesa's talented chefs and Visit Mesa's partnership with Alvéole, an organization that helps urban beehives thrive. From Oct. 10–19, Mesa's culinary scene will buzz with creativity as local chefs showcase limited-time, honey-inspired dishes and drinks made from honey extracted from Alvéole's beehives in Mesa. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Local First Arizona, supporting small businesses and community growth. Participating restaurants include Elysian Fields, What's Crackin Café, Guadalupe on Main and Espiritu, with more to be announced soon.
Celebrate Mesa Day
Date & Times: Oct. 11, 5-9 p.m.
Location: Red Mountain Park
Celebrate Mesa Day returns on Oct.11 at Red Mountain Park, offering families a free evening of seasonal fun. Guests can enjoy live music by the Cassidy Hilgers Trio, whimsical character encounters at Mrs. Potts Tea Party, and lively entertainment from Dino Crew. The festival also features archery tag, a petting zoo and face painting, making it a perfect fall outing for all ages.
2025 Annual Cemetery Tour
Date & Times: Oct. 25, 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.
Location: Historic City of Mesa Cemetery
Step into Mesa's rich heritage at the annual Historic Cemetery Tour, held this year on Oct. 25 at the City of Mesa Cemetery. The self-guided walk features guest narrators at several prominent gravesites, bringing the stories of Mesa's most notable figures to life — from musicians and World War II mayors to Ernesto Miranda of "Miranda rights" fame. Día de los Muertos Festival at Mesa Arts Center
Date & Times: Oct. 25, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Oct. 26, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Mesa Arts Center presents the free community-centered Día de los Muertos Festival, celebrating Latin American heritage and the memories of loved ones with art, music and cultural traditions. This event features a vibrant community altar, live performances, artisan vendors, hands-on workshops and inclusive programming to honor the Day of the Dead. Downtown Mesa invites families to its annual Haunting on Main event on Oct. 25. This free, family-friendly Halloween celebration features trick-or-treating‑ along Main Street, with local merchants offering treats to costumed children. Don't miss the fun at the north side of Macdonald, where kid friendly‑ activities, food and music add extra festive flair.
Jim Bob's Burger Pop-up Event at Worth Takeaway
Date & Times: Oct. 31- Nov. 1, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Location: Worth Takeaway
Returning this fall to Downtown Mesa, Worth Takeaway will host its popular Jim Bob's Burgers Pop‑up. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in costume—though it's optional—and can enjoy exclusive burger offerings in a fun, themed atmosphere-inspired by the beloved TV show.
