SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- First Republic Bank (NYSE: FRC), a leading private bank and wealth management company, today announced that Executive Vice President Jason Bender will become Chief Operating Officer, reporting to Chairman and CEO Jim Herbert.
In this new capacity, Bender will be responsible for the overall operations of Deposits and Lending, Online Banking and related digital activities, strategic planning, enterprise data and secondary loan marketing. Additionally, he will continue to oversee banking activities in the South Coast California region.

Bender, 46, joined First Republic 16 years ago and has most recently served as the Bank's Chief Administrative Officer. Prior to that, he led the Bank's Finance and Planning departments. Bender holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Swarthmore College and an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.
