FirstLight Home Care Honors Franchisees at Convention in Nashville, Tennessee

"This is one of my favorite times of the year," said Jeff Bevis, FirstLight Home Care co-founder and CEO. "It's a chance for the entire FirstLight Home Care family to come together in one place to share and learn from each other. This is also the sixth time we've done our awards, and every year I'm even more impressed than the last at what our owners have accomplished."

The FirstLight Home Care National Franchise Convention and Awards Banquet allowed all attending FirstLight Home Care owners to benefit from special training sessions, roundtable discussions, and meetings with vendor partners.

The conference welcomed keynote speaker, Ken Schmidt former marketing leader at Harley-Davidson to speak on the topic "Building Tattoo-Worthy Customer Relationships."

Awards Banquet, Firstlight recognized outstanding owners for growth, improvements and overall performance. Don and Craig Randall, a father and son team who own a FirstLight Home Care franchise in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, won the Franchise of the Year Award; Debbie Owens of the Brunswick, Georgia, location won Caregiver of the Year for 2016.

"This event is all about our franchisees," said Bill McPherson, executive director of franchise development at FirstLight Home Care. "We want to show our appreciation for them, but we also want to go beyond that and offer them the opportunity for continuing education and the ability to meet our key vendor partners."
