Five Below Selected as Finalist in Innovative Retail Technologies Retailer Innovation Awards

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J., Jan. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Agilence, Inc., the market leading insight service provider of cloud based data analytics for store operations and loss prevention, today announced that retail client Five Below, one of the fastest growing retailers in the country, has been selected as an Innovative Retail Technologies Retailer Innovation Awards Finalist in the In-Store Operations Category.

Innovative Retail Technologies magazine conducted a Web-based survey of subscribers during October 2016. Subscribers were asked to nominate a retailer in one of six categories (omni-channel retailing; in-store operations; supply chain/fulfillment; workforce management; loss prevention; and customer engagement). A total of 50 validated nominations were submitted. Winners and Finalists were selected by the Innovative Retail Technologies editorial staff. Five Below was selected as an awards finalist in the In-Store Operations Category.

Five Below's unprecedented growth led them to create their first Asset Protection department to drive in-store operational efficiencies and performance. They searched for a tool that not only would meet the needs of Asset Protection efforts but would serve other business partners within the organization. Five Below selected 20/20 Retail from Agilence to identify areas of operational improvement and to investigate fraud in store locations. Five Below Regional Managers and District Managers monitor actions of the top performers and potential offenders in each of their 44 districts via personalized dashboards.
