Flash Networks Signs Reseller Agreement with Amdocs

HERZLIA, Israel, March 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Flash Networks, a leading global provider of intelligent mobile Internet solutions, announced today that it has signed a reselling agreement with Amdocs, the leading provider of customer experience systems. Under the agreement, Amdocs can offer its customers Flash Networks' Harmony solution – an innovative mobile Internet data services gateway – to complement Amdocs' policy management, charging, and partner settlement offerings. Flash Networks is a member of Amdocs Enreach, a global program that promotes joint business opportunities for Amdocs, emerging technology partners, and communications service providers.  

Harmony is a network-based solution that optimizes use of RAN, backhaul, and transit network resources across all types of networks, including faster networks such as LTE, by:

• Working with policy management systems to apply policy-based rules in real-time to compress or cache data content such as video for faster serving, or to filter content to decrease network load;
• Identifying over-the-top (OTT) content sources at the network level, and working with charging and partner settlement systems to offer special price plans for OTT offers and settle with OTT partners;
• Offering a tool-bar that allows consumers to activate speed boost in real-time for better quality-of-service.

As data usage explodes, service providers face network congestion and quality-of-service challenges.
