FlavorHealth Expands Leadership and Commercialization Team
NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J., July 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- FlavorHealth, a specialty flavor company focused on the discovery, development, and commercialization of natural solutions for taste enhancement, today announced the appointment of two key team members.
Ajay Chandran, appointed as Vice President of Commercialization will be principally responsible for guiding efforts to commercialize the Company's expanding portfolio of natural taste enhancement solutions. Mr. Chandran will report directly to Christian Kopfli, FlavorHealth's Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Chandran brings significant and relevant experience to FlavorHealth, having served in various global and regional leadership roles in Marketing, Sales, Sustainability and Global Account Management. At PureCircle, he successfully led marketing efforts to expand stevia awareness and adoption in North America and Asia Pacific. Mr. Chandran also established the company and the stevia industry's first comprehensive sustainability proposition and goals, winning several awards for the company along the way. In his global role, he helped some of the world's largest food and beverage customers like Coca Cola, Merisant Co and WholeEarth to reduce calories and sugar by formulating with stevia. While serving as the regional head, he helped obtain regulatory approvals, and established the entity, team and commercial infrastructure in South Asia. Prior to PureCircle, Mr. Chandran worked in establishing and growing the global marketing division in the central region at YKK USA- subsidiary of the $7 billion OEM supplier. He holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelors in Physics from University of Delhi.
FlavorHealth also announced the appointment of a Senior Account Manager - West Coast, Frank Lam. Mr. Lam brings over 20 years of sales and marketing experience having served most recently as a Regional Account Manager for MycoTechnology. During his tenure at MycoTechnology, Mr. Lam successfully developed and managed the company's global sales strategy.
