FleishmanHillard Appoints Della Sweetman to SVP and Senior Partner of Business Development, Americas, and Emily Frager to General Manager San Diego

ST. LOUIS, Sept. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- FleishmanHillard has announced two important organizational changes to support its growing needs in the Americas, as well as emerging opportunities in and around San Diego.

The agency has named Della Sweetman, senior partner and general manager of Southern California, as senior vice president and senior partner of business development, Americas. In addition, the firm has promoted Emily Frager, senior vice president and senior partner in Los Angeles, to general manager for FleishmanHillard's San Diego office.

In her new role, Sweetman will work with business leaders and teams across both the Americas and international markets to attract new clients, with a focus on larger accounts.

Frager takes on the management of the San Diego office. Her focus will be on growing the agency's business and driving new opportunities within the market and surrounding regions, including Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii.

Sweetman, who joined FleishmanHillard in 2003, became general manager of the San Diego office in 2007. In 2009, she took on responsibility for the Los Angeles office and became general manager of Southern California.

In addition to her operational role, Sweetman has served as a senior counselor and client relationship manager across regional clients. Experienced in brand marketing and reputation management, she has managed national awareness campaigns as well as reputation management programs for clients in the consumer packaged goods, food, tourism and hospitality, and government sectors. She also helps lead FleishmanHillard's global brand marketing practice.

Frager, who began her career with FleishmanHillard's Chicago office in 1998, relocated to Los Angeles in fall 2012. A brand and reputation specialist, she has held several leadership roles within the agency, including as client relationship manager for numerous global and national brands. During 2008 and 2009, she served as general manager for the Minneapolis office. Today, Frager oversees the retail division of FleishmanHillard's brand marketing practice and leads work for top accounts.
