Flextronics Receives Top IPC Award for Significant Contributions to Electronics Industry

SINGAPORE, Feb. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- During a luncheon ceremony held at the 2012 IPC APEX EXPO® in San Diego, California, Flextronics (NASDAQ: FLEX) was honored as the recipient of IPC's 2012 Stan Plzak Corporate Recognition Award. This award honors and recognizes an IPC member corporation in the electronics assembly sector that has made significant contributions to the industry, while demonstrating support of this organization through participation in technical and/or management programs.

The award is named for former IPC Board Chairman Stanley Plzak, former president of Pensar Corporation, and a founding member of the IPC Electronics Manufacturing Services Industry Management Council.
