"Flip the Switch" into Game Mode for College Colors Day 2025

Pro football star and former Texas Longhorn Bijan Robinson rallies fans to rep their school colors on August 29

ATLANTA, Aug. 20, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Get ready to flip the switch on fandom – College Colors Day returns this year on Friday, August 29, with a nationwide call for fans to show up, show out and celebrate the start of the season in full school spirit.

Developed by collegiate brand licensing leader CLC, the annual national spirit celebration unites fans, students and alumni across the country in proudly donning their team colors and promoting their affinity for their favorite college or university. This year's theme, "Flip the Switch," invites people to power up their pride, throw on their team gear and transform into fan mode to be a part of the College Colors Day celebration. 

Leading the charge is Bijan Robinson, former University of Texas Longhorn and current Atlanta Falcons running back, who's starring in this year's campaign to encourage fans everywhere to flip the switch and activate their gameday fan mode. Robinson is joined by The Tiger from Clemson University, Buzz from Georgia Tech, Cy the Cardinal from Iowa State University, Sparky the Sun Devil from Arizona State University, and Cocky from the University of South Carolina, along with cheerleaders from Indiana University and Michigan State University, bringing spirit from across the college football landscape and uniting fans as only college sports can.
