Bradshaw, Scott, Daniels, and Carter Join MVP Forward Javon Adams to Form Frederick's 2026 Core
FREDERICK, Md., Sept. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Frederick Flying Cows are excited to announce the re-signing of four pivotal players for the 2026 TBL season: Joe Bradshaw, Ronald Scott, Damien Daniels, and Shaye Carter. These returners join 2025 TBL Co-MVP and First Team forward Javon Adams, solidifying a core that will complement the vision of newly appointed head coach Dan Prete.
Adams, who delivered a breakout campaign last season averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds, was the driving force behind Frederick's success and earned league-wide recognition as one of the TBL's brightest stars. His return, paired with the re-signings of Bradshaw, Scott, Daniels, and Carter, ensures the Flying Cows enter 2026 with one of the most formidable lineups in the league.
Joe Bradshaw made an immediate impact during his rookie season, averaging 12.6 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game. Known for his dominance in the paint and clutch plays on both ends of the floor, Bradshaw quickly became a cornerstone of the Flying Cows' lineup. "I knew this was the best decision for me because the energy around the whole city feels progressive and rapidly growing, always a heartwarming feeling to be a part of something bigger than basketball," Bradshaw said.
Ronald Scott returns after an impressive season where he averaged 12.8 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.3 rebounds per game, cementing his role as a key floor general. Fresh off an MVP nomination in the Brunson League, Scott brings leadership and steady playmaking to the team. "I am looking forward to getting back to focusing on our main goal this season with my brothers, which is to bring a TBL championship to Frederick," Scott stated.
Damien Daniels, who consistently ranked among the TBL's top 10 assist leaders last season, averaged 12.5 points, 6.3 assists, and 2.4 steals per game. Daniels expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming season under Coach Prete: "I knew this season would be a bit of a change but ultimately it will be good with Coach Dan implementing new things and finding out what ways he can put us all in position for ourselves to succeed and obviously for the team to win."
Shaye Carter, the 2nd overall pick in the 2025 TBL Draft and an active member of the Frederick community, will also return for the 2026 season. "I wanted to stick with the team that put me under their wing and do my best to pay it back," Carter said. Following the 2025 season, Carter was voted Most Improved Player by his teammates.
With Adams leading the charge, and Bradshaw, Scott, Daniels, and Carter providing a balanced mix of size, playmaking, and versatility, the Flying Cows are building around a foundation of proven talent and chemistry. The continuity of this group, paired with Coach Prete's leadership, positions Frederick to chase new heights in 2026.
