CHICAGO, Feb. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Executives' Club of Chicago will host a Women's Leadership Breakfast on February 23 with four influential female leaders in Chicago's business community. The breakfast, titled "The Strategic and Effective Use of Power", will feature Tonise Paul, President & Chief Executive Officer, Energy BBDO; Anne Pramaggiore, President & Chief Operating Officer, ComEd; and Sheli Rosenberg, Of Counsel, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP. Gail Golden, Principal of Gail Golden Consulting, LLC will moderate.
The women will examine what "power" really means in a corporate environment: different types of power, how to best leverage power based on situational considerations, and various ways to build power. The panelists will also dive into their personal experiences to discuss the different types of power they see at play inside their organizations and ways in which they, or others, have successfully garnished or misappropriated power.
Platinum sponsors of Thursday's breakfast are Ernst & Young and Merrill Lynch. Discover Financial Services, NiSource and WBEZ will sponsor at the gold level. Today's Chicago Woman (TCW) and Ming Wang are media sponsors.
