Four Schools Named P21 Exemplars of 21st Century Learning

WASHINGTON, Dec. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Today P21, the Partnership for 21st Century Learning, announced the 2016-2017 spring cohort of 21st Century Learning Exemplars.

The P21 Exemplar Program, instituted in 2013, aims to identify and showcase schools that are equipping students with the 21st century skills they will need to succeed in college, career and life. P21 designated the following schools as P21 Exemplars, because they demonstrated strong commitment to providing 21st century learning to all students.

The four schools to form part of the 2016-2017 spring cohort are:

Early Learning:

The Goddard School located in Mooresville, North Carolina
The Goddard School located in Redmond, Washington

K12 Schools:

Feaster Charter, Chula Vista, California
Sycamore Valley Academy, Visalia, California

"Now more than ever it is important to celebrate and uplift examples of quality teaching and learning," said David Ross, P21's CEO. "We are eager to offer the education community in-depth analysis on the components that made these schools outstanding through P21 generated case studies."

Case studies on all P21 Exemplar Schools and School Districts will be released in the spring of 2017.
